The payment may also include an additional small fee applied by the platform service provider.
Essendon Hockey’s Hookin2Hockey program includes 7 fun and exciting coaching sessions with our coaches, and will flow directly into Hockey Victoria’s U8 and U10 competition season.
We have plenty of sticks to use without you needing to buy one for your children, although you will need to separately purchase your own mouthguard and shin guards as we are unable to supply these. Alternatively, equipment packs may be ordered separately from Hockey Australia at an additional cost as part of the registration process.
ABOUT HOOK IN2 HOCKEY
HookIn2Hockey is Hockey Australia’s official junior program that allows kids to make friends and have fun in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment!
HookIn2Hockey provides an inclusive introductory program that caters for all abilities and allows participants to learn the skills essential for hockey in a fun environment featuring familiar games specifically tailored for hockey.

Register your child/ren by clicking the “Register Here” button below, where you will be redirected to the event page for the Term 1 2024 HookIn2Hockey season. From there, follow the instructions in the Program Information section of that page.
MOUTHGUARD POLICY
Essendon Hockey’s policy is that all registered junior players must wear a mouthguard for all on-field activities. Wearing a mouthguard is vital for your safety when playing hockey. There are several options when it comes to selecting a mouth guard; if you require more information, it is recommended that you speak to your dentist.

When the Term 1 Hookin2Hockey program ends there are many choices depending on what you and your child would like to do including both internal and external programs and competitions, for all ages, abilities and budgets.
In most cases, we recommend that your child proceed to join the U8 or U10 competition group (competition commences on Saturday 27 April, 2024). More information will be provided concerning these programs during the HookIn2Hockey sessions.
